Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Burnett

Mrs. Burnett graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She is married to her husband of 50 years, Bob Burnett and they have three grown children and four grandchildren. A transplanted Texan, Mrs. Burnett has been with Help-In- Crisis as Grants Administrator since 1996. Cindy has been a domestic violence victim advocate and Rape Responder for twenty-two years. She has completed over 600 hours specialized training in sexual assault and domestic violence services and received the “Direct Service Award” from the Oklahoma State Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. Over the years, Mrs. Burnett has played an integral role in organizing and promoting a myriad of fund raising activities and events for Help-In-Crisis. Cindy enjoys family activities and camping, church, motorcycling, cooking, dancing, laughing, being part of a successful team, and finding a bargain.
