Positive Choices is a 52-week Batterer's Treatment program for men who are abusive in their personal relationships. Typically, batterers are court ordered through the District Attorney's Office or Child Welfare to attend the batterer's group as part of their sentence or treatment plan.
Batterer’s Treatment meetings are from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m. Monday evenings. The initial assessment fee is $50 dollars. The fees for the group sessions are on a sliding scale based on income. Attendance is mandatory and program lasts 52 consecutive weeks. Intakes for the group are scheduled through the Help-In-Crisis office and must be completed before starting the group. Payment must be in the form of a cashier's check or money order and paid in advance of the assessment or group session.
For questions about the group or to set up an appointment, please contact Help-In-Crisis, Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 at (918) 456-0673
